The Redesigned 2019 Jeep Cherokee

Off-road enthusiasts and family drivers alike have been anticipating the redesigned 2019 Jeep®Cherokee and now we’ve finally gotten a closer look. Fiat Chrysler provided a few teaser photos, along with the information that the upcoming model will feature more efficient powertrains. While there’s no detailed word on the latter, the Jeep® Cherokee’s new design is certainly something to be excited about.

Spy photos previously revealed that the upcoming 2019 model did away with some of the more controversial design cues, such as the split headlamps. While the crossover features the brand’s signature seven-slot grille, the spacing between the slats is smaller and comes at a less aggressive angle.

The Cherokee also features a redesigned front bumper and updated front panels. Overall, the new design boasts a more rugged look that’s fitting for the Jeep® brand. Around back, the Jeep® Cherokee features new taillight graphics and a license plate holder just below the tailgate.

While the exterior is more aggressive than previous years, the interior is likely to see few changes. A new design around the shifter and revised trims are the only major updates.

The 2019 Jeep® Cherokee is expected to hit the market later this year.
